Community Heroes Social Media programs

Social Media Purpose

The Community Heroes Social Media program's goal is to provide a platform for anyone with a disability or obstacle to have a voice. To reach all social media and podcast platforms. Presenting these stories through social media allows us to accomplish two primary objectives. The first thing is a consistent reminder about barriers faced, and milestones accomplished by the population. We want to be an advocate for creating an all-inclusive community.

Action: We created a Youtube channel that contains multiple interviews. They have been a driving force in regards to us pushing the agenda of all-inclusiveness and eliminating injustice. We in addition utilize Instagram, Facebook Fanpage, Twitter, and our personal page.

Functions and Task: Our director does Social Media Training every 2 months to promote Community Heroes Social Media. Community Heroes Interviews: This is where we interview people to hear about their stories about their disability. This process requires finding a guest, multiple communication, signing of release forms, and scheduling.
